Here's a little bit about RISH:
RISH, his stage name, is versatile singer-songwriter and performer, specializing in Pop, Soul, RnB, Funk. Indie, Rock music.
He started singing at the age of 7 and has been in various music Co-Curricular Activities and Interest Groups such as choir, symphonic band and acappella all through his educational journey.
At the age of 19, after graduating his diploma programme in polytechnic, he decided that music, particularly singing, performing and songwriting, was his passion. Supported by his family whom are all lovers of the arts, Rish is now graduating from LASALLE Bachelors Honors in Pop Music, deeming this was the right direction to further grow and nurture his craft as he knows he wants to pursue music as a career in the long run.

Rish has done multiple shows during his time in LASALLE since his first year. Being one of the lead vocalists for the college's band "It Is What It Is"(IIWII) and other bands and acoustic sets, he and the band have been personally requested by the school and commities to perform for many shows such as Purple Parade, Harmony Fest, Yellow Ribbon, Istana Open House.etc. He has proven himself to be able to deliver exactly what a show would need.
Being on stage is what he yearns to do for the many years to come. ​ Rish wishes for everyone to see and feel who he is as a person through his music and his performances. He strives to bring power, soul and emotion with his songs and to inspire people just as many others, like his peers, have inspired him.
While being a solo singer, Rish is also the lead vocalist of 17FIFTY, a 5 piece band formed in mid ’21 and has done many curated shows with them. Initially driven with the intention to produce, write & arrange R&B, reggae, funk-infused and pop-inspired originals, the band also embraced re-arranging classic hits as covers that makes for a truly enriching experience. With his band's very first 4 song EP and his own first 2 singles coming out late December 2025, Rish is adamant to keep the momentum going with their music and his own.
